These are getting harder to find these days - especially the ones with monster tops like this beauty! Add to that, it was painted by THE MAN himself, Tom Murphy during his early years with Gibson, and now you have a highly collectible Les Paul that can only increase in value over the years. It's still in Nr. Mint condition and appears to have been rarely played. This ranks in the TOP 5 among the quilt top re-issues that I've ever had the pleasure of owning over the past 10 years or so. I've affectionately named it the "LAVA TOP" because(to me anyway) it kinda looks like magma flowing from the bridge to the bottom of the guitar. It's all original of course, and the pickups are the much desired PAF's. Comes with it's original case and certificate signed by Jimmy Wallace.
