You may be familiar with Campellone as a builder of fine Hollowbody and
Archtop guitars. You may NOT know that he started out building quality
solid body guitars and basses early in his career. This happens to be one

This early 'One-Off' prototype was hand-built with a beautifully figured
American Black Walnut body and Eastern Hard Maple neck-thru design.
Fretboard is Ebony with oval MOP/abalone fret markers. Headstock
veneer is Elm Burl. Back center piece is African Mahogany.
Pickups are Bill Lawrence. Kahler locking trem system and the
tuners are Gold Schallers. 2 vol/2 tone knobs & 5 toggle switches for
a nice variety of sounds.

Mahogany Body & Neck, TIGERSEYE Quilt that is so deep you wanna dive into it. Matching Quilt headstock overlay, and a BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD Fretboard with Flame Maple Binding on the neck. Flame Maple truss-rod cover as well. From original owner, who bought brand new and only played sparingly "in-home" and never gigged. No worming, no dings, no uglies, NO ISSUES. A true "Collectors Condition" guitar that plays incredibly well. Perfect tuning & sweet neck makes it easy to play. Mini Schaller Tuners and all Hardware is Nickel/Chrome. Loaded with Rio Grande Humbuckers with 3-way switching and push-pull coil tap that allows for that Texas singlecoil tone. Orig. case and signed COA included.

This guitar was built by a prominent Luthier in the western U.S. That's about as much as I can say about the Luthier himself, as he doesn't want his name out there(Personal reasons). It was special built for a customer with the following features(he wanted an axe much like Bruce Springsteen's #1 axe.):

One piece ash body with a very thin natural finish, so you can still feel the grain of the wood. Highly Flamed maple neck with a Birds-eye Maple cap fretboard(how often have you ever seen that combination?!). To top it off, the guitar was then loaded with Fender equipment, including; Fender
vintage-style bridge & saddles, Fender vintage noiseless pickups, Fender tuners, bridge, etc. This thing plays and sounds great. I'd put it up against any Custom Shop Tele that Fender makes. The original owner of this guitar paid big bucks to have it built, but you won't have to(Price is set less than HALF what it cost to build!). Please note that no strap buttons were ever installed, nor holes drilled for them. Not sure why, but it's heavy enough(8.5lbs) that ya may want to sit down and play it anyway??
